(Data from Akamai's 2011 State of the Internet report www.akamai.com)

The average download speed for the village only is 672Kbs while the average upload speed for the village only is 312 Kbs.
The majority of those who responded use BT as their internet service provider.
One of the most interesting facts to emerge so far is how houses nearer our exchange in Sulgrave get a much faster broadband connection than those at the 'far' end of the village. Equally surprising are some of the speeds being reported in Culworth and Eydon - some up to 4mbs. So faster speeds CAN be achieved if we get our act together!
We really need more households to submit a test - so please ask all your friends in the village. Just pop along to http://www.moretonpinkney.info/broadband-test.html
It doesn't take long and the information provided will be vital for a successful approach to BT who hold the key to the potential of broadband in this area.
Thank you!
